Description

Blackboard Ultra now includes a new Flexible Grading interface to support grading by question, student, or a mix and match approach. Flexible Grading provides a streamlined navigation to help prioritize grading by instructor preference and need.

Available since August 23rd for the Fall 2023 semester, Flexible Grading offers several new enhancements to the Ultra grading experience:

  • Grade by question, student, or a combination of methods
  • Navigate easily between multiple assessment attempts
  • Provide feedback using a rubric, annotation tools, comments, and notes
  • Collapse or expand the grading interface's side panels to focus on students’ submissions
  • Filter by grading status

Flexible Grading is available for assignments and essay questions on tests, and can be used with SafeAssign. Subsequent releases will include group submissions, anonymous grading, multiple grades per student, and peer review.

Join our introductory training session on Monday, September 18, to learn more about Flexible Grading. This session will include a live demo.
