Blackboard Ultra Assessments in 45 Minutes or Less

Are you new to Blackboard Ultra? Join this 45 minute session with live demo to review Ultra assessment tools to prepare your course, including the following topics: 

• Create individual or group tests and assignments

• Customize test and assignment settings

• Create question banks, question pools, and rubrics

• Create an offline assignment

• Enable SafeAssign for plagiarism detection

• Set exceptions for due date, availability, and attempts

Stay after for Q&A. This session is ideal for instructors who are new to Blackboard Ultra or adopting Ultra in an upcoming term. 

This session will be facilitated by Josh Abrams, Instructional Design Specialist.

JOINING THE SESSION

This webinar will take place in a Microsoft Teams virtual conference room. Enter the webinar up to 15 minutes before the start time. Select the "Join Online Event" button in myUMBC to join the MS Teams session.

Prior to the Event

1. Install Microsoft Teams or plan to use the web version.

2. Check your audio. Although participants will be muted during the presentation portion of the session, microphones will be enabled during Q&A.

3. Check your video. Apply blur or background effects according to personal preference.

4. Learn how to access chat, raise your hand or use reactions.

5. Log into myUMBC and access the event link.
