Description
Learn about Ally, a tool in Blackboard Ultra that scans content created in the course and offers instructors remediation support to improve accessibility. In this session we demonstrate Ally’s remediation capabilities and file conversion tools that help create an accessible and inclusive experience for all learners.
Instructors can leverage Ally's powerful alternative format options and let students know they can also download content in multiple formats that support diverse learning styles.
Sessions topics and demo include how to:
- Run the Ally Accessibility Report
- Use Ally's Instructor Feedback Panel to preview and prioritize remediation
- Leverage Ally's alternative formats and File Transformer
- Follow Ally's step-by-step guidance to fix accessibility issues
This session is ideal for instructors who are new to Blackboard Ultra or adopting Ultra in an upcoming term. It will be facilitated by Susan Biro, Manager, Online Learning.
