In this presentation, Chemistry faculty Sarah Bass and Tara Carpenter (with assistance fromDoIT’s Tom Penniston) will describe their collaboration on their Learning Analytics mini grant proposal to nudge more students into using practice as a strategy to prepare for high stakes unit, midterm and final exams. They will also describe and demo how structured messages, tied to student behaviors and performances, helped make a large class smaller by scaling delivery of the right message, to the right student at the right time.
Note: This will be a hybrid event with lunch provided for registered participants (17 max). As such, the seat limit only applies to in-person attendees. A virtual link will be sent to all registered participants the morning of the event.
