Faculty from non-MOL institutions are welcome to register for this free event and priority will be given for member institutions.

The workshop will be held Friday, October 11 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Anne Arundel Community College/ Arundel Mills campus (Hanover, MD).

Workshop facilitators are Deborah Dorsey (Associate Professor of Health, Harford Community College) and Richard Smith (Instructional Design Specialist, Harford Community College)

Faculty who attend this half-day professional development event will develop the skills needed to:

  1. Recognize accessible learning content.
  2. Check and revise their learning content (text, images, and video) for accessibility errors.
  3. Create new learning content that meets accessibility guidelines.

How to Register

Space is limited and priority will be given to faculty working at MarylandOnline institutions (UMBC is not a member institution). There is no cost to attend, but registration is mandatory. We kindly request that you do not register unless you are certain of your availability.
