ADP Course Designer Track Workshop

Description
DoIT's Office of Instructional Technology will host a full-day workshop on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The day will focus on using the Quality Matters Rubric to inform course structure. Participants will discuss student needs’ assessment and map goals and objectives to hybrid and face to face elements of content delivery. Online approaches to creating and managing course content will be discussed, including the use of assignments, assessments, and rubrics. Specific Blackboard tools including Adaptive Release, and the Grade Center will be reviewed as means to support design and student academic success. ADP Course Designer cohort participants will be matched with a specialist for program support and ADP milestones will be reviewed. DoIT will provide a boxed lunch. Please RSVP by close of business June 9, 2016 and note any dietary restrictions.
Alternate Delivery Program (ADP) Course Designer Track participants must register and attend both workshops being held on June 15 and June 16. ADP Course Designer cohort participants receive priority consideration if capacity is reached.
